TrackMe collects location data, including your path, speed, altitude, and distance, only while a recording is active and only for the purpose of recording your track.
A status bar notification is shown while recording is active.
TrackMe uses location permission to record tracks and, if you choose to view maps, to show your current location on the map.
You can use TrackMe without an internet connection, except when loading online maps or when using optional sync features.
Your location data and recorded tracks are stored locally on your device by default.
If you choose to sync your data with a TrackMe server, a copy of that data is also stored on the server only to provide the sync feature.
You can delete your locally stored data at any time within the app by deleting recorded tracks, or by clearing the app's storage in your device settings.
If you have synced data to a TrackMe server, you can also delete your server-stored data at any time using the TrackMe web viewer.
If you do not use the sync feature, no location data is stored on any remote server.
TrackMe does not sell your personal data and does not share your personal data with third parties, except as necessary to provide the optional sync service that you choose to use.
